Stanman,
You had someone show you Galatians, and another John and 1 John, here is another:

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

EDIT: By the way, z9y2a8sdf32q is a typically uninformed person. Jesus does too say that he will die for the sins of men:
John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John 3:16 is the most simple, easy to understand version of Jesus dying for our sins. Read the first four Books of the New Testement, Matthew/Mark/Luke/John. They tell the story of Jesus being crucified from four different points of view. The Book of John is the easiest book for beginner Christians to read because it not only takes Jesus ultimate sacrafice into perspective, but it describes in detail how we can use it for our sins and go to heaven.

It is mentioned and prphesized throughout the Bible that someone would come and die to save all mankind. In the New Testament, it tells the whole story of Jesus's life. I suggest you read a Bible. there is no verse in the Bible of which Jesus himself said anything about dieying for anyone sins. the rest of the Bible are other people telling stories of him or preaching.

Romans 5: 6-8 KJV

For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

It does not say it in those exact words. Different Scripture points to him dying on the cross for myself and all other sinners. Everyone will bow down and worship Him someday. But someday means you can forever be seperated frrom him for eternity

Hebrews 9. Start reading at Hebrews 9:1
Matthew 1:21
Many other more subtle cross references point to it.

Afraid I do not accept the NT as part of the Holy Scriptures. And, Jesus is not even mentioned in there. So----------.
