Tom Venuto is the author of the book "Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle." It's a very good book that I've read so far. I started at 22% body fat and dropped down to 12% body fat through diet and exercise. As for the 40 pounds, you probably want to lose 40 pounds of fat. If that's the case, based on Tom's article, you should be losing 1% of original weight per week to be safe. 75 days is a span of 11 weeks so in 11 weeks, you will have 89.5% of your starting weight remaining. Therefore, unless you are currently 400+ pounds, it would not be safe to lose 40 pounds in 75 days. Otherwise, you would be losing muscle.

I am not sure if you can loose the exact number but if you have the will and the determination to do it then you can always achieve success in no matter what you do.

BTW, why 75 days? u r not getting married r u LOL

You can always join a weight loss program, make sure you eat healthy and exercise daily.

Try the links I gave, I also heard about jenny craigs but you can only achieve sucess if you stick to a plan.

Failure is not an option sucess is the only way left :)

No. You can lose 5 lbs the first week, 4 lbs the second week, but then it starts getting hard unless you exercise and diet together. Even then you might lose more inches than weight.
