Pain, jail time, regret. Also, every time your name is ran by the Police, you will have alerts attached to your name for assaulting an Officer. Not worth the few seconds of satisfaction you may feel for a "perceived wrong".

Not a good outcome. In most States, assaulting an official - Cops, Firefighters, EMTs, and the like - gets handled a little differently. In many cases the charged gets bumped up one level. In my State, if you punch somebody in the mouth and bloody their lip, it's a serious misdemeanor. If that person happens to be one of the above on duty individuals, the charge gets bumped up to an aggravated misdemeanor - bigger fine, more jail time, longer probabtion. Add to that a charge of Interference with Official Acts, resisting, possible Hate Crime considerations, and the fact that batons, mace and the like are going to be used on you to subdue you and you can see that one stupid act will open up a whole new world of hurt for you, both figuratively and literally.

And, as mentioned, you will get tagged in the system. Anytime you get pulled over - speeding, bad trun signal- that cop is going to know that you assaulted an officer in the past. That will increase the speed at which force escalation will be used on you if the need is percieved, and decrease, to the extreme, the likelyhood you will get a warning ticket.

BEFORE someone thinks that I hate police officers, know that I've trained 7 kids that are now retiring as police officers and they tell me many things that they are unwilling to disclose for fear of reprisals from within the ranks. MY son-in-law, who is the father of my two grandchildren, is a police officer; my best friend's older brother just retired as a corrections officer, and his first son-in-law is now a police officer; my brother-in-law is an assistant warden at a corrections facility.

The law is on their side... forget it. That's why they abuse YOUR rights, liberties and freedoms (and mine, too) and they act tough while in groups, like schoolyard bullies. You and I, and the rest of the population must put a stop to being herded around and verbally abused by these idiots... they work FOR US, and do not have the authority or legal power to push us around and talk down to us. WE can also report them if they break the law (like going past red lights while NOT in pursuit of a criminal or "on a case" as they LOVE to say... to sound important). They CANNOT break the laws they are hired to enforce! They are not above the law. Too often, they don't even know the law and what they do is trespass on our rights, freedoms and liberties. OR they rely on your ignorance of the law to abuse your rights, freedoms and liberties!

IF a police officer comes to your door and asks you to step outside of your door, DO NOT STEP OUT; he/she will grab you and handcuff you but not while you're in your home... they cannot enter your home or arrest you without a warrant or a court order or can claim they witnessed you breaking some law or ordinance. Also, do not answer any questions unless you first ask if YOU are the subject of their investigation; if they say, "Yes," (and they MUST tell you the TRUTH, by law) DO NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD WITHOUT AN ATTORNEY PRESENT to represent your best interests; they have been known to lie on their reports just to get a report of an arrest to justify their job.

IF, however, you have witnesses that will stand up in a court of law and will not be intimidated by those others that will come around and "suggest" they cooperate with them... and you have the testicular fortitude (cojones) and the know-how to whup a s s... try it. But, you better have a good lawyer to defend you and take photos of you JUST BEFORE they handcuff you and take you away... that's when they will take advantage of you and cause some bodily harm to you... like Rodney King and the other guy who had an industrial mop-handle shoved up his rectum!

I suggest that you don't try it. However, good luck and best wishes. You have no idea how they will come after you like a pack of jackals to harrass you and cause inconveniences... they will hound you mercilessly until you move away... and it will continue wherever you go... it ain't worth it.

Ironic, isn't it?

How easily they can get away with provoking a citizen to the point where they can use restraining procedures like they learned in police academy, just because the day has been a slow one.

But a citizen can't give it back to them... The police force is corrupted

Go for it! Assulting a cop is like the coolest thing you can do. Think of how cops beat Rodney King's black ***. Think of how they tried to frame O.J. Think of how they threw Bobby Brown's ghetto *** in jail and then planted drugs on him. The police deserve a beat-down.
