No honey you are not crazy. I am Bipolar also and i hate to admit to this but whenever my dosage was cut I started hearing crowds of people talking and music all of the time. I am on Seroquel and the doctor had to increase the dosage from 600 to 750mg at night to help control it. So far it has worked.
Lithium is such an old drug and has many, many side effects as does the Prozac but if you can tough it out you will be fine especially since he now has you on Abilify. Hang in there honey things will straighten out. Just remember that it takes four to six weeks for the new drugs to get into your system. Good Luck

You are not crazy but you do have a condition where there is a chemical imbalance in the brain why you take the Lithium-the why of the Prozac which as far as I know is for depression that you'll have to ask your Psychiatrist to explain and the Abilify. The Abilify must be for the voices that you hear which is usually a Schizophrenic but I am not a Psychiatrist-and only one learned in these matters-Psychiatrist can answer your question correctly. If in doubt it doesn't hurt to go get a referral to another Psychiatrist for should have access to your records. Discuss this with your Psychiatrist and she can refer you to a colleague for I wouldn't just go to anyone. Since she's been helping you for 10years she must know what she's doing and you can trust her. At least when you are hearing stuff its entertaining and nice ,the choir singing-do not know about the crowds singing-loud huh.But there are those with the same condition that see and hear things not so nice. Wish you a happy life but rest in that you are not crazy-if you take the medication you can have a almost normal life so be glad for that.

it is not likely that when 5 days of Prozac you're having any side outcomes. Prozac takes a minimum of a month to start up working precise. I took Prozac for a mutually as and that i definitely nervous concerning the side outcomes as I had heard such somewhat some unfavorable comments. I confident my self i might get the two side effect and made my self somewhat ill. It replaced into all psychological and there replaced into not something in any respect incorrect with me. I did finally stop taking Prozac because it wasn't helping me in any way. provide it time to artwork precise and once you're nevertheless nervous circulate and consider which comprise your GP. stable success.

I am taking Abilify and a slew of other meds for my Bipolar disorder. Without the anti-psychotic I do experience delusions and voices. Especially in times of high stress.

I agree with Sunny, the meds are not supposed to start voices. She should be giving you different meds, not extra ones. And your not schizophrenic if it's the drugs making you hear the voices.
