I would say a majority are educated, have professional careers, maybe in the upper-income level, and have some kind of business if they are not working a 9-5 job. It would seem to me that they have a lot to lose if they don't speak up.

The Asians are generally family oriented people and they do not like to bother about other people's business. Many think that politics is reserved for those who are very vocal and like to impose many rules and regulations for others to follow but they themselves find it hard to comply. So they mostly kept to themselves and their own business.

Asian participation is encouraged due to their increasing number in the community. However, they are afraid or reserved due to rascism.

can't understand them...lol don't take offense but every asian i have ever met, i can' t understand them too well.
