ABSOLUTELY!!!
Of course he wasn't going to show up for his court date. No one who is illegal or in their "right mind" would.
They broke the law of the land. When we have them in custody we should take time out to deport them and finalize it all so we don't have to worry about them murdering/raping/robbing our citizens.

Build a wall and keep them in the US. AMNESTY for the hard working North Americans (Mexico is in North America). We need them if you think we don't you need to do some serious studying. Leave the undocumented alone, americans should stop hating on immigrants and focus on teaching their children some damn morals. Mentor your children so grade school girls stop having sex, teach your children alcohol and drugs are not good for them, spend some damn time with your kids instead of bothering good folks. The illegal hardworkers are the least of your problems. Why do you think the government hasn't done anything about them? They know they contribute to America. The government just pulled a fast one by the radicals. Yes it calls for the wall to be built but it doesn't say how, when, how it will be paid, etc... They are just setting it up for immigration reforms. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Worry about companies outsourcing and building factories overseas. Why is there no outcry about that?? You are blinded by hate for diversity.

I am still for removal hearings for people. The real problems here were not that he did not show up for his hearing they are:
1) An unsecure border, allowing nameless individuals with possible criminal intent to saunter right on in.
2) The fact that someone who brutally stabbed a child was allowed to run free. I'd be upset if this was citizen criminal too. Violent offenders should not be on the streets awaitng trial.
We are a country of justice, first and foremost, and all deserve the "right to a fair and speedy trial." It is the system who dropped the ball here and let this man free to roam. This man should have been jailed, had a hearing ASAP, and should have been deported ASAP right after. No red tape, no delay.

I think you still need the hearings, even though I dont believe we should be obligated to provide them on a personal level. On a moral level I think we need them inorder to send the right msg on how things are done here. You commit a crime by being here illegally, then follow the legal procedures already put forth to remove them as well as allowing someone to enter America.
Some people are here illegally but would otherwise be persecuted in their home countries, which is the only reason why I think the hearings should exsist. I think larger detention facilities need to be built to house them till they are given their hearing, none of this go free till then. I think Everystate in this country should make it a mandatory law to detain illegal immigrants when they are charged or ticketed for other crimes. If the states are unwilling to do so then I hope the federal govt makes it mandatory...It's all about who's going to foot the bill which is why it's not done now...imagine houseing 10-20million illegal imigrants over say a 10year period...Either way it will do no good to do so till you have a MAJOR reduction in illegal border crossings and start to secure it, if not then whats going on now will continue to be a problem...We detain, deport, and they come right back.
What we should really be asking is Why does Mexico not enforce it's own laws against people crossing illegally from their country into ours? It just seems like they want to get rid of their poor and allow all that money to flow back into their economy while doing nothing for their own people.
Since The problem with the extreme criminal element of illegals is becoming such a issue with the media why dont they get realistic about how they report the issue and why doesn't everyone in nonbordering states listen to those of us who live near the borders and see these problems first hand
We are still talking about small issues around the illegal topic before guys like this can be put out we MUST secure our borders, MEXICO is not going to stop these people from comming, they WANT them out of MEXICO so they dont have to take care of them. All this crap about a better life and what not and sending money home to the faimly is just another sob story, Sure there are those who want that, but WHY isn't their govt. doing it, it's not our responsibility as americans to take care of Everyone else in the world....We have a hard enough time doing that with our own citizens

We should not send them back to their home country. We should send them somewhere else. Not many MS-13 Salvadorans or these Mexican illegals would want to risk it if they woke up, stepped off the plane and found themselves in Rwanda or Somalia. That would change many people's attitude toward coming here and towards committing crimes once here.

All illegals are members of street gangs just all whites are Klans men. For the crime of the few, all should pay? You seem to be a very angry girl for some reason. Please do not take it out on immigrants.

YES, if they are known to be an ILLEGAL ALIEN.... and we should give them a death sentence if they return illegally.... Time to end this filthy invasion of illegal aliens.... and time to enact a 5 year prison term, no parole, along with a $250,000 fine, for employers who hire illegal aliens/criminals.
