What a war that would have been. I think Holyfield would have had a problem here.

I think that Holyfield is a better overall ring technician with the better boxing skills. I believe there would be some dynamite punches thrown and landed by both men with Holyfield landing the more effective crisper punches. Holyfield by unanimous decision. Good question.

You're right! This would've been a war! Holyfield was better technique-wise so he probably would have to box a bit more in this fight because Ibeabuchi was so strong and would've pressured Evander hard. But we know Evander is a warrior so he would've went toe to toe at some point. Both fighters have good chins so this would've went the distance i think but it would be action packed much like Ibeabuchi-Tua. Tough fight to call, but i have to go with Holyfield if he fights a smart fight like he did against Tyson in the 1st fight. Holyfield by decision in a whale of a fight! Great Question!

People love Ike because his career was cut short. Let's not forget that he went life and death with David Tua. His trademark win over Chris Byrd was impressive but Byrd was not unconscious and was doing well in that fight. Hell, Wlad kicked the crap out of Byrd when he was a prospect and....well...I don't see him defeating a vintage Holyfield. Romanticizing Ike is one thing, but I believe a tough, strong Holyfield defuses Ike's offense and wins going away.
