Are we talking 6000 solar years?

Then not even close, we understand that the Grand Canyon is at least 10 million years old. We are receiving light from galaxies that are at least a billion years old.

Heck, we have documented civilizations that are at least 10,000 years.

The only people in the universe who believe the 6000 year figure are american fundie christians.

Yes. In the grand scale of things, the Milky Way galaxy is very tiny in comparison to the rest of the Universe. And the earth in comparison to the Universe?...

in a span of eternity and infinity, both the proton and the entire universe take up the same amount of "space". as do the second and the lifetime occupy the same amount of "time".

the universe is indeed ageless as it is boundless and has no beginning and will forever remain without end.

All around us.

Big Bang and Gensis are the same, the stars would have been thurst out near the speed of light, do you know how far they go with no air friction to slow them down in 6,000+ years!

That's 6,000 light years, isn't it!

How can we accurately measure anything that far!

Besides, we don't know how long a "God" say is.

The 6,000 year figure is only from the Exodus

We have no idea how long Man was on Earth between Genesis and Exodus!
