ok, why do kids/adults begin to smoke or anything that will stunt the time they have to live, with all the resurerch out there, u would think they would be smarter about chocies that they make, they must not care about life or have im going to die someday kinda atitude to add on additional risks, im not talking about the evolving technoligy (vehicles) but more about the stuff that is just there (smoking), i also wonder if these ppl relise they could basicly be gone tomorrow, well get sick/diagnosed then not be able to do what they want then their gone, so like i asked does anyone really care about life anymore?

its no different than its always been, people do what they want and then they still think it wont happen to them, no one has ever seen themselves as the one who can die. such is life.

Would being gone tomorrow be so bad really? Do you want to end up in a nursing home sitting in your own urine and feces and have some other person telling you when to get up, when to poop, when to sleep and eat?...I think that today, more than ever, people have more stress in their lives than say 100 years ago. There are many unhappy people out there. Our society has gotten lazy as well, so things like smoking, overeating, lounging in front of the tv...are all more common. Everybody has their habit, and though chewing your nails won't kill you (unless you never wash your hands and deal with disease), it's still a way to relieve some stress. I think there are many people that care about life...just not to the degree that we all should, if they didn't care at all there would be mass suicide world wide. Plus you could get hit by a bus tomorrow even if you were a non-smoker or a gym fanatic...so do what you wish and when your time is up, it's up. Do what makes you happy, or sit in misery and wait to die, depends how you feel I guess.

You said the answer in your question, We could basically die tomorrow, WHY NOT ENJOY TODAY? anyone could die at anytime, why worry about the little crap, if you want to smoke a cig then go ahead, you can't live your life worring that every little thing you do is going to kill you or that it is bad for you...life is meant to be lived, everyone dies...while they are here they should be able to live how they want without people judging you for everything you do....as long as what your doing isn't harming anyone else then do it. more power to them i think. Death is just a fact of life,

yes i do...care about life honest...thats why i make sure that when i smoke...i smoke by myself, no secondhand smoke given to anyone.....
