i have school normally for 4 hours in the morning. But after school im home all day, so i've decided to get a 7 week old shih tzu. But i have noone to watch it while im in class for 4 hours. Is that okay? I mean, i'm home all day after so is that okay?

i also forgot to add that when left alone, i will leave it in a safe, spacious and comfortable area. im not going to just leave it around my home, im not that irresponsible. haha!

As long as she has a place to go to the bathroom. Like you said there's plenty of space for her so your not leaving her in a crate. You will have more trouble house training her because of it but otherwise as long as you make sure to play with her a little bit before you leave, you should be fine. A puppy as a rule can hold their bladder for about 2 hours for every month of life so she will only be able to hold it for about 3 hours at best.

I think it's OK, I would put the puppy in a cage with a towel or blanket and a bowl of water and maybe a toy...

Yes that's fine so long as it has access to water and a place to sleep. It's going to teach the dog to be independent and stop separation anxiety later on.
