I do. So, yes, it's possible. Not sure if she has a bf at the present time, it's none of my business. She is more of a "true" friend that "best" friend.

I'm wondering if the reason your asking this question is because either you don't trust your husband OR your don't trust this woman who is his best friend?
If it's not a matter of trust then ask youself this question.
Could you being a happily married woman have a best friend who is male and is single?
I"m sure you would answer yes, unless you felt you could not control yourself.
Having a best friend of the opposit sex don't mean having sex with them.
But I have to ask you this also..
Do you know her? or does he keep her hidden from you?
If you don't know her ask him to invite her over for dinner that you'd like to at least meet her..etc.

Yes, it is possible, but you must always be aware (and therefore guard against), the chance that the relationship could step beyond the platonic level.

Yes its definitely possible. I know quite a few people who are married that have best friends of the opposite sex who are single.

No it is not because his intent may not be right, or things can easily get out of hand through a friendship encounter. Like people say they become friends before lovers. Watch it.

I am the best friend. His wife hates me and is talking about divorcing him even though ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has happened between us. My answer is, that if you value your marriage, you should turn to another friend (as much as I hate to say it)
