1/2 part Kahlua and 1/2 part Vodka + 2 parts of light cream/milk mixture around 5 % fat.

Remember the Vodka you are using has a lot to do with quality.

If you want a bit cheaper Smirnoff will do. If taste is your perference stay out of Stolishnaya, Moskovskaya not to talk of some other cheaper brands most best (if even then) to be drunk as they are, like they do in Russia, not mixing.

Best recipe? There is only one White Russian. kaluha, vodka, milk ( I prefer Whole Milk ) and ice. Of course, there is the option of how much of the ingredients go into the drink.... depends on ho F'd up you wanna get.......

P.S. sometimes the milk won't sit good in your belly, try not to drink a million white russians in one night.

I like to make mine with one part vodka to two parts kahlua, over ice, and fill the glass with half and half. Most recipes call for it to be one part kahlua to two parts vodka, but I prefer the taste of kahlua to be stronger.

Also, I don't think it's still a white russian, but a real great drink is one shot kahlua, one shot vodka, one shot chocolate liquer, and half and half -- gives it a whole new flavor.

WHITE RUSSIAN
2 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Kahula
Light Cream
Pour vodka and coffee liqueur over ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass. Fill with light cream, shake and serve.
