ive met a girl that really blows my mind and we have a great time but she has an ex that she cant get off the brain ive been easy going when she brings him up but im sick of hearing about him i want for it to be about me!! i want this girl to open up to me and not always be talking about him shes the one for me and i want to know how to show her and make her see the way i do not in a controlling way?

well you have ask her if she is even willing to move on. to me i think this gurl just needed someone to talk to about her ex. because she misses him or really just can't get over him and i think she found dats person (you0 not to be mean or anything. But you should let her know how you feel about her ALWAYS TALKIN ABOUT HER EX, and or whatever else you have a problem with. and if you dont get the reaction or answer you are looking for then maybe she isnt the one for you.. gooD lucK with it

Tell her you are just the type of guy who doesn't like to hear about exes because you are romantic and you find it dampens the romance, and you want to wine and dine her like a real lady and when the ex is brought up it ruins the mood.

What?..is it really that bad...hearing about another dude ..first of all if he has her mind your done before you begin..so sorry about your luck pal..stick to being friends ..or drinking buddies..maybe she be nice give ya.. alil...who knows if a man has a womans mind he has it all..either put up with it or move on..she could go on for the next year like this ...

do u think this girl likes you? If she does, I think you should just let her talk to you about her ex...we girls need that...if its just a fresh break up..let her talk about him...but at the same time do some slight romantic moves..like buying her a rose for no reason at all..i dunno...whatever...then when she gets closer to you...and ur relationship gets a bit more intimate...show her that ur a bit jealous if she still talks about her ex....in my opinion...i think a guy is serious about me if he tells me he is jealous of my ex...

having a conversation that focuses on you would be the least of concerns..focus on her..how she feels, hows her day, what's her plan..let her feel that you're there with all ears..let her find out that you're the missing piece of her..one of these days, you'll hear it from her friends that she's talking a lot about you...
