Have you ever laid in bed at night and been really depressed, and down, and lonely, or just really had a bad day, when you suddenly feel this warmth and cold at the same time? As if something was pushing in on you, not suffocating you, but surrounding you and filling you up, and giving you strength? Then you fall asleep and you wake up feeling so ready for another day?
Have you felt this before, and did it bring you to tears?
I think it's God's love, don't you agree?

I did expect these hooligans trying to make sexual jokes, but I'm being serious here.
I'm talking about the fact that everyone feels the Holy Spirit at some or other time, all in different ways.
I aprrecaite the honest answers. Keep them coming.

Yes. You know, even before I was born again, this was...oh it must have been 20 years ago. I was watching a movie in a theater, it was called "Grand Canyon". These people were sitting on a curb in the street talking about something. I don't even remember what, it was just something about life that was really upsetting them. All of a sudden, I felt this huge, enormous rush of love...I was just blown away. It was like, God's love, for those on earth who are in trials and suffering, and are having struggles. I have never forgotten the enormity of that love I felt. And I'm merely human. I cannot comprehend the boundlessness of God's love.

Yes, I just recently felt this way. I was depressed and had a really bad day. After I prayed to God, I started to feel a little bit better. I slept for close to 14 hours that night and felt a lot better the next morning. I know God kept me from doing something stupid to myself.

Yes it has happened to me before. You sense a presence of the Lord with you. You feel that all your problems have been lifted off your shoulders and you get a warm/ cold feeling ....This is the Holy Spirit

Yes, I have felt things like that before. Sometimes after I have committed a sin and feel guilty, I ask his Holy Spirit not to depart from me, but to fill me up with his grace and mercy and usually I have a feeling of gladness come over me of how good he is and how he forgives, and that makes me want to try harder not to sin and to live a pure and holy life before him. I count my numerous blessings and look to my blessed future (both in heaven and on earth..i am still fairly young) and I get so joyful of Christ's forgiveness and goodness and it makes me want to live for him more and do his will. Love God and people and do not judge and be filled with joy. That is how I want my life to be And yes, I have been brought to tears many times before because of this. Glory to God in the Highest!

I have felt His love many times and it is always an awesome experience! I agree with you. It's not easy following Him but those moments in His presence are just a glimpse of what is to come.

what I've felt that I'd call "God's Love" would not be described at all like that, but I have had experiences that I could call "Gods love" but honestly to my mood, that seems a little melodramatic.

but its good to hear people having good experiences like that.

Its call the awakening of the soul...our subcontious mind is always trying to solve problems in our life.. we get glimpses of what it is thinking when we dream .. sometimes when we are still and quiet we can hear our inner mind trying to solve the problms in our life... we know we are looking out for oursleves.... god did not care about the thousands that died when the tsunami hit and he certainly does not have time for petty problems that we have... :)
