I would say so; he is still married. If you respect him, you won't date him until he is free; and if you are a Catholic, this becomes more complicated by the fact that the Church doesn't recognize a civil divorce. Also, his children are his first obligation now; if you date him you must understand that. If you have a serious interest in him, talk to your priest about it to get a better answer.

It is not a sin unless you are hurting yourself or others by your action.
If your actions are causing goodness and love, etc. that is the tip off that you are in the right.
I am a Catholic who has studied such questions with an eye to religion and common sense.

Sin or not - it's not a good idea. Wait till this person is divorced for a year or so before you get involved. You're catching him on the rebound, and think long and hard about being a step parent. Don't let love be blind or you could be living in hell on earth.

In my opinion It is not a sin. Your motives become a sin if it leads to evil action. there are many kinds of date. One is for frienship, getting to know that person, the other is boyfriends and girlfriends date, family date and so on.You have a choice. I am sure you have the capacity to think.

I'm not sure about that, but don't be with him now. Wait until
he's divorced, He could be just using you. What happens
if you two were to get together and then he reconciles with
his wife. Then what? Your feeling will be hurt. It will be different
if he was a single dad and he had been single for a while. Then
go for it. But if you just want a Booty Call then thats all up to you.

He's still married. Heb. 13:4 :"Let marriage be honorable among all, and the marriage bed be without defilement, for God will judge fornicators and adulterers."
He should be off limits until he is legally divorced. Sorry. Encourage him to seek a divorce.

well, he is separated otherwise known as divorced so he is open for grabs now....but on the otherhand...unless you are married and dating him then that would be a sin on his part (tho shall not covet tho neighbors wife) or soemthing like that.....plus its called soething else in law or seomthing.....so as long as you are both single, go for it, your safe.....you just have 2 of his kids that you would be in care for....and its best if you dont turn into one of those b*tchy mean step mothers! cheers!!!!!
