If he's raised right, he won't be aggressive. No dog is inherently mean, its how you make them. I have an american Pit bull terrier. they are supposedly very aggressive and will "turn" on you. He is the sweetest, most loving dog, because he has a good temperment and was raised well. Keep playing with your dog, socialize him, teach him to trust people and other dogs and there shouldn't be a problem. At the first sign of aggression, take him to a specialist to help curb that, so you and your dog dont have a bigger problem later on.

They aren't mean dogs, just suspicious of strangers. I think I read an article about them in last months Gazette, Dog World, or Dog Fancy. Unfortunately I can't remember which. I do remember a lady leaving her son with the family Corso outside of a store and someone coming up to the boy and the dog placing himself between the two to protect the boy. It was simply a misunderstanding that the man wanted to know what kind of dog but they are loyal and certainly could protect you if it came down to it.

What is a cane corso and why do you want it to be aggressive?

Addition:
Just googled it.
They are not to be aggressive, you dingbat and have to be socialised and learn to interact with other dogs and people.
I hope you got him from a reputable breeder and he is free of the genetic faults
Bet you got his ears cropped and tail docked as well .....
My question still stands, why do you want a working dog like that?

Cane Corsos are not mean dogs. Why would you want that? If you want a mean pet, then get a tiger!

They are not actually a mean dog. They show very little aggression. They just seem like they should be because of their size and aperance its a common misconception.

They're only mean if you train them to be. They are POWERFUL and you better know how to handle them, or you will get yourself in trouble. Obedience training is always good.
