One of the advantages is the NTFS file system replacing fat32. Both platforms are a lot stabler than 98/me class o/s's. Both are much easier to manage than 98/me as well.

windows 2000 is a network based Operating system where as Windows XP is userfriendly and Good graphicall designed operating system both are best in their own way.

Windows 2000 is old-hat now. As of this writing, WindowsXP is the thing. For how long, who knows. WinXP is definitely faster.
