I am not Chris, I have been allowed to use his computer in order to find help and advice about my situation...here it is: I was put on probation and told that I could not call my girlfriend's HOUSE #, but I did so anyway because I couldn't bare to not talk to her for a year's time (until I turn 18 in June). I have a learning disability, am dislexic, and have ADHD, so I was not sent to court or charged with anything before I was put on probation. I recently got a letter in the mail saying that I have violated my probation...not anything else. What could happen to me by the law now? If I am sent to Juvenile jail, how long could I serve? Should I run...would it be better off if I did until I turn 21 and all possible charges are dropped? What should I do? My 18-year-old girlfriend is being charged with a Class 1 Misdeameaner for Contributing to the Deliquency of a Minor (we had consentual sex). She has nothing on her record and admitted to the truth...as I did. What will happen to her?

Okay...I am the girl...I am worried about my boyfriend...he is living under strict rules right now and is unable to talk on the computer. I am worried about how things are going to turn out for him now that he has risked so much for me. And I AM being charged for this crime as I depicted!!! It is stupid, I agree, but his mother is intent upon seperating us and is doing all she can to **** me over!

I work at a detention center much like the one you may be sent to. If you do go, it will not be fun. You should not run away though. You have broken a law, and the law will see to it that you are punished for it. You failed to mention your previous charges, but my main suggestion to you is to behave, listen to the courts, and play by the rules. If you do this, your chances of seeing your gilfriend soon are much greater! The system is trying to help you believe it or not. Use this time to finish your education and find your faith. I hope this helps, be strong, even if its hard nothing lasts forever. remember that

Even minors have to play by the rules. Running will only make matters worse. The charges will not be dropped just because you hid out until you turned 21 The chances of even being able to hide that long are slim to none. The chances of the charges being dropped at all are slim. In most cases the charge for violating probation is worse than the charge for the "crime" its self. Reason being probation is considered a second chance. She's only being charged with a class 1 misdemeanor? She's darn lucky. You need to do yourselves both a favor and leave her alone. I know you cant bear to not talk to her but it's only going to cause more trouble. Now that she's being charged with this is she going to have to register as a sex offender?

If you have violated probation, you will be arrested at some point, and taken back to court. When I was a juvenile, it meant an automatic 30 days in juvenile hall, and probation starting over. Do not run. Thirty days is nothing compared to what you will face if you run.
As for the lady I just hope she doesn't get convicted because then she'll have to register as a sex offender.

I don't have any immediate knowledge regarding the law, so I'll let others answer.
I just would like to comment on some inconsistencies in your question. Such as when you stated that you were dyslexic and have ADHD. Very difficult to believe since your question and subsequent elaboration is so thorough and concise.
Besides that, how will you understand the advice which is giving to you since you have a short attention span as you stated?
I'm just curious.
Anyway good luck with your situation.
edit: now that you've admitted being the girl, I advise you to repost your question again because by now the original question is at the bottom of hundreds of others soon to be thousands then millions....You wont get any more responses from this question anymore. I don't know what to tell you cause I dont know the law, but good luck.

I would like to know how dyslexic, ADHD stricken 17 year olds manage to not have to go to court? Also, if he wasn't charged with anything, how the heck did he get probation!
Man, everyone has ADHD these days.
The possible charges for your boyfriend vary, since we have no idea what he was charged with (you say he wasn't charged at all!). Violating probation is a bad idea. If he turns 18 in June, it sounds like his court problems aren't going to leave him and it also sounds like he might not be charged as a minor.
It's time for you, girlfriend, to find a new boyfriend or wait out his dumbass mistakes and keep your own butt out of trouble. Seriously, I know being young and in love makes it seem like your relationship will last forever and through everything, but if you'd like to start out your tests of love with misdemeanors....you're in for a loooooong haul.

I am not falling for any of this. They would NOT charge an 18 year old girl with having consensual sex with a 17 year old boy. And, the 17 year old boy would NOT be put on probation you goof ball. Also, your spelling isn't that great, but I didn't notice any dyslexic tendencies in your writing. My opinion, you are a big liar.

first you should have not violated your probation because now u might be goin to jail.you might serve up to atleast a couple of months but not years depending on the judge.dont run becuz that will make even worse than it already is and if you do run you can face up to a year becuz you ran for no reason at all.Just go see your probation officer and turn yourself in maybe that will be better off on you becuz they see that you didnt mean wat you did.
good luck

Just break the law anyway. All they can do is put you in prison. If you love this girl, you will not mind going to prison for 4 years in return for calling her on telephone. Psych!! Grow up and do what the law tells you, or you may end up in jail.
Get real....
