well its an interesting question Pal , I can see some people wrote that Quran was copied from the Bible ... well I agree with them .. but that only means that all of them come from one God ... name him whatever ... I wonder how Muhammad the illiterate human would know about Christianity or Judaism in the middle of the desert !! be logical who wrote the copying answer .

Islam means you have to submit the well to the God ( Allah ) and obey his rules .. a Muslim is called for those that people do not get irritated or harassed by a Muslim . any one can be a Muslim , but to be believer you need to do more and learn the word of the truth from the holy book of God ( Quran )

Who is Muslims ?
Muslim is one who submits to one God.
How to submit to one God ?
It has to be in a way shown by his Prophets.
How to recognize a Prophet ?
Prophets are given some miracles to convince the people he is indeed prophet, Like the wand of moses that turned in to snake, ability of Jesus to give life to dead and to give eyesight to those born blind during certain occasions etc. Miracle of Prophet Mohammed is the Quran. Quran challenges to produce a chapter similar to in its style and eloquence.

Well, the answer to that my friend is obviously no. The Qu'ran was written as a response to the apparent hypocrisy of Christianity and Judaism in not doing what their books taught them to do. While much of OT teaching is to do with practical rules for living at the time, believe it or not, were hypocritical in their living and preaching. Strange how things change isn't it?

Certanly no you are not a muslim because to be a muslim should
be based by practicing :.
Six principles of iman or faith i.e (1)believe in Allah as the only one God (2)believe in angels (3)believe in prophets as messe-
ngers of Allah with the last prophet Muhammad pbuh (4)believe in holy Qur'an as given by Allah as life guide and hadith as its explanation of Muhammad pbuh (5)believe in God's decree or taqdir and (6)believe in eternal life after death.
A good muslim should pratice in his/her everyday life the 5 principles of Islam i.e (1) syahadat that swear that Allah is the only one God and Muhammad pbuh as the last prophet to convey the messages from Allah(2)pray to Allah as a compulsa-
ry at least 5 times a day:before dawn,at noon,in the afternoon
,after the sunset and at night before sleeping (3)pay zakat or islamic taxes from earned income and wealth monthly or at least once a year (4)fasting during ramadhan as a compulsary and (5)pay a haj pilgrimage by visiting the sacred places in a certain monthto Medina,Mecca.Mina ,Muzdalifa and Arafah at least once along his/her life when have enough fund, healthy and have no other obstacles.
Believing only to one God is not a good muslim. You must practice all islamic teaching in your everyday life.Holy Qur'an contains what should be done as a good deed and what should be avoided as a bad deed.Allah will judge us at the resurrection day.and will select us who will be the inhabitant of heaven and the inhabitant of hell in eternal life after death..

Thank God that you believe in one God. Just that without the Quran you don't have the means to know him and perform the duties that is necessary to achieve his blessings. I don't mean mercilessly killing innocent people. That's forbidden.

Peace.

Good question! NO...and I'll tell you why...

The Qur'an would not exist if God didn't want it to exist...The entire Qur'an is centered around getting to know God and an understanding of his message to mankind, Islam. The two are inseparable...

Think about that for a few minutes...;)

Fear Allahs Wrath.....for we may say we Love Allah,,,,,but then do all that we feel is right.....that will never work.

Quran is proven to be the word of Allah through numerous scientific facts which were only recently discovered.

For Allah says in the Quran. "The Deaf, The Dumb, The Blind, they will never come to the true path" refering to those who see the truth of the Quran, and yet choose not to believe in it. May Allah give you Hidayah. Ameen.
