Read your bible before you answer this question. They infact did not, the devil was right, the fruit gave them the ability to know right from wrong. But how could God expect them to do right if he didn't even give them the ability to know right from wrong? Doesn't this make God an idiot?

Boopie,
et ha Adam and his wife Eve knew that associating with the Serpent was totally forbidden. This was a Commandment God had given them. They knew that getting involved with the Serpent in any way would not be excused by God.

The Bible does not say how long et ha Adam and his wife Eve were in the Garden of Eden before the Serpent totally seduced Eve.

After Eve had had sex with the Serpent she convinced her husband to lie with her as well. It was at this point that their eyes were opened and they both felt ashamed. This is when the veil was removed from their eyes. They knew it was wrong and they knew what it meant to do right.

You say at then end of your question that doesn't this make God an idiot. Boopie, God will not be mocked. I suggest that you immediately go and repent of this for your punishment will be swift and in this life.

Never say anything like that. You can say whatever you want against the Lord Jesus Christ while we live under grace and it will be forgiven, but mocking God is a big no no.><>

God made Adam and Eve in his own image, they chose freely of thier own will to make a decision against God, such as we do when we sin. God did not make junk, nor is he an idiot, you are talking about the creator of the known universe, harldy what an idiot could do. The only thing that Satan tempted Adam and Eve with was 'to be like God' since we are created beings that is an impossible task.

There was no wrong to be righted until Adam and Eve let themselves become the first victims of satan's treachery and deceit. True, satan was right when he told Eve that their eyes would be opened and they would know good and evil, but up until that point all they knew was good and perfect. God banned them from the Garden of Eden because they disobeyed Him. Because of Adam and Eve's disobedience, sin and death came into existence.God wanted Adam to know what the good IS and what the evil WOULD be,but instead Adam would now discover what the evil WAS and what the good WOULD HAVE BEEN.

They did not receive the ability to KNOW right from wrong they just THOUGHT that they should be the ones to determine what was right and what was wrong instead of God. Much the same as today's people who say that abortion is alright and homosexuality. There is a proverb that says "There is a way that seems right to a man but, it still leads to destruction"

God was the one who would decide what was right and wrong, and he told Adam that it was wrong to take fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and bad. Only God has the right to decide what is right or wrong for us as He is our Creator and Father.

God told them not to eat from that particular tree and He told them why. Satan twisted what God said and appealed to Eve's lust for the beautiful fruit. Eve, in her moment of weakness decided to eat the fruit. God told them that if they eat from it, they will SURELY die. Satan told her she surely wouldn't die.
When God asked her....she blamed the serpent, when God asked Adam why he ate, he blamed Eve. They knew what they did was wrong. If you are calling God an idiot then you are believing Satan's lies, too and you will surely die. It's time to repent before it's too late!

no they were innocent of right and wrong just that things were as they are.
Not hardly He had his Creation the serpent tempt one our the other into eating of the fruit of the tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. After that He was more worried about them finding the tree of life and eating from that.
That is why They were hustled out of the Garden so fast and Angels were stationed around it to hid it and guard it so humankind wouldn't be able tp get back in to do so and become as gods.

God DIDN'T expect them to do right! He knew what they'd do, and it was part of His Plan of Salvation. He is ABSOLUTELY NOT an IDIOT!!!!!!!!!

He told them not to eat of the fruit. This is not a matter of knowing right from wrong. It is a matter of obeying or not.
