Your brain is growing. :) It's expanding out through your hair follicles. ;) Just kidding. If you don't have the flakes, I wouldn't guess it's dandruff. Maybe you have some sort of allergic reaction to your shampoo. You might consider switching it to a different shampoo for a couple of weeks to see if there's a difference.

My answer is the same as the others, lice - but after you go Ewww....have your mother or a school nurse or employee nurse look at your scalp. If it is lice, they usually are behind the ears and the back of the neck area. You need to find out if that is what it is and then get NIX at the drugstore, or whatever the pharmacist suggests.
I had them when my kids did and my head is itching now with symphathy. No other way to get rid of except to treat (or go bald). If no lice, try a tea tree shampoo. Paul Mitchell has one as does Sally's beauty supply (cheaper). Good for itchy scalpes. Good luck. And don't freak if it is lice, it happens to the best of us.

have you been exposed to head lice? if so that maybe it or you could have a fungis may need to see the doc. more than likely it is head lice. I AM SO SORRY FOR YOU IF IT IS!!! GOOD LUCK!!

This might sound silly but try listerine mouthwash, it helped me I tried about everything. I got the info out of oprah's magazine

it could be head lice.. but you dont need to panic. the best cure is to put conditioner in your hair and use a nitting comb to remove the eggs. oh and there is no need to wash all of your linen as they can not live on your sheets, etc..

i get that from certain shampoos i am allergic to most shampoos and that is one of the side affects from it
