No milk is very good for you, I had a male friend who would stop at the store and buy a half gallon every day after a day at the pool, and he would drink all of it within 15mins, he had the strongest, whitest teeth, I'd even seen, he was a life guard.

Do not worry, milk is very healthy. When I worked out a lot, I would drink at least half a gallon every day (I used to buy 2% or less fat). I never felt better.
However, make sure you buy organic milk. Non-organic dairy products in high doses may be harmful, because the cows are treated with hormones and antibiotics that will pass on to your body through the milk. If you, or more importantly your kids, are overly exposed to antibiotics, they will lose effectiveness. If you get pneumonia, for example, you might actually die from it, because your body will be so used to antibiotics that they will not serve their purpose.

I hope that helps.

On webMd.com I read an article that said milk is bad if you have over 2 glasses a day in women. The lactose can increase your chances by 44% of getting ovarian cancer :( Maybe you can try to water down your milk you drink, so your body still gets the milk but in smaller doses. Maybe switch to skim milk which is better for you. Try looking for another drink that can curb your craving. Hope this helps!

Human Beings are the only species that drink the milk of other species. And the only specie that drinks milk after infancy. I think that makes us just a little weird! If you're drinking that much milk everyday you're probably over weight unless it is fat free. Most people who drink a lot of milk don't like the fat free so maybe you could switch to that or go cold turkey!

Too much of anything can be "bad" for you! I would recommend choosing fat-free milk (if you don't already) if you continue to drink so much. Whole milk is high in calories and fat. If you are trying to cut down, try an alternative beverage to drink in place of milk. I would recommend those Crystal- Light packets that you add to bottled water. It's low in calories and there are lots of flavors to choose from! Good luck.

It depends on your diet and what kind of milk you drink, say you drink whole milk, that is high in fat, but skim milk isn't. If you do drink too much without drinking enough water,
I've heard that calcium build up can cause bone spurs.

milk is good for the body but too much milk is not good either for the overall health. milk contains fats such as saturated and total fats, so i would let your kids have the servings recommended per day but nothing more unless they are playing sports-then they can drink a lot of milk to keep their bones strong. my brother swims and therefore he can eat and drink more than the normal kid who plays PS2. milk is not that bad, is good, but i would not over-do it! give your kids sufficeint milk to make their bones strong and as they get older they can have more milk!

if you drink to much of anything it can be bad for you. depending on what else you eat, it might be too much calicum if not, like most people you probably lack calcium and by drinking the milk your getting enough...short answer...i think your fine with drinking that amount that you are.

Of course, too much milk is bad, unless you like kidney stones and hypercalcemia and want to gain lots of weight and have heart problems later in life.

No, you need at least 24 oz a day. Just drink a lot of water also.
