Given our complete confidence that he or she is (1) not just trolling (the way some people do on Yahoo); (2) an actual muslim; and (3) serious, I have to say, it doesn't tilt the scale toward Islam as a house of peace in the same way that releasing doves in your name would.

actually a lot of people of that faith are not violent , they have different sects though far fewer just like people of the christian faith have different churches, what u hear in the news is mostly about a certain group that are extremists, a big part of the faith actually says something along the lines of not persectuing christians and jews they'll realize the truth eventually, cant remember the exact phrasing, a lot of what is going on overseas started from internal problems in the region from the different groups because they dont all believe the exact same thing, dont let ignorant people fool you into believing that everone of the muslim faith is violent, especially dont always believe what you see on the news though things are bad over there the news always makes things more dramatic to get ratings, do your research and get the facts before coming to a conclusion also nebtet is right if someone is threatening you via yahoo you should report them

How do you even know that the guy is Islamic. You cannot condemn an entire religion based on the threat of one. I understand his anger with you. I would be angry if someone was saying things like that about me. You need to put yourself in his place, How would you feel? I am not saying that the Islamic is the way to go but I am not condemning them for their beliefs. Yes any culture has dangerous people even people who are in gangs justify their hatred some how. Are you attacking them. Are you attacking everyone else with different views from your own? No just Islam. What have they done to you personally. Have they tried to kill you. Yes some people from their religion "extremest" did some horrible things but they don't speak for the group as a whole. I am Christian and American... don't persecute them for what others in their country have done. If you wish them to be peacefull let us teach by example.

First of all, how can you be certain that it was a Muslim that threatened you? There so many people here who are not who they really are.
I'm a Muslim convert and I really don't like your questions or comments which generalize Islam and Muslims. But I'd never wish for your permanent termination of existence....
I'd probably shove a giant zucchini up your derrier (french for @$$) just to shut you up because, most of the time, you talk from your @$$h0l3.
True Muslims don't need to threaten you because you are an insignificant detail in this grand scheme called life.

well,i wanna tell everyone that goes around saying stuff about islam with no prior knowledge or reading is superficial,if persons did wrong things that doesn't mean that islam is responsible 4 those stupid actions of some people who don't understand islam correctly,so i ask u guys to act as u claim!! that ur intellegent and go to a library and read books about islam before u go on saying things that u only heard on tv,and don't make it the only source of ur information...

I think you are making things more generlized dear , moslims are human too ... and each indevidual has its own way of thinking .. just let go , and think more logicaly.... I wouldnt think that all christians or jews are bad too ... actually i have very wonderfull relations with them. I wish that one day we all ignore what we concider " a personal feelings" and think more into reallity...
