I do not want anything too serious. The example that my professor gave was "Persuade men to put the toliet seat lid down after relieving themselves." Please don't make it too silly!

A good topic for your essay could be that more people need to make sure their butt crack or underwear isn't showing. You may think it is a silly topic, but if more people were enlightened about my topic suggestion, the awkwardness of having to look at someones underwear or butt crack and tell that person about it could be avoided, saving everyone the embarrassment of the whole situation.
Also, with this topic, you have more opportunities to get people laughing, which is an added incentive to get people listening to what you have to say.

write a persuasive speesh about if you should buy from walmart or to not buy from walmart. some people ban it cause they think it puts everyone out of business. I have always thought it was funny how there are multitudes of people boycotting walmart but on the other hand there is lots of people who buy EVERYTHING at walmart.This would be a fun topic I would think. but ya know, your the writer, its your opinoin and/or Idea that counts. if yuo like to research alot then this would be an fun topic to do. but if your not a fan of research then choose what you think is best. there are a ton of Ideas out there. do somthing origanal! ~ good luck!
