It's good for cooking bratwurst in, or cooking ribs in before putting them on the grill. Have you ever tried the Beer Can chicken recipe? It's outstanding. Take a whole chicken and put your favorite rub on. Open a can of beer pour some of it out, then insert the open can inside the chickens butt. Cook over low medium coals for 2 hours. It's really tender.
I have heard of people washing their hair with beer -supposed to give it a lot of body. And of course you can drink it!
