Personally, I feel that Firefighters should be at the top of the Heroes list and the #1 category. They do there job and risk there lives to help everyone with out notice of skin color, wealth, religion, etc... and they definitely don't do it for the paycheck. (Especially those that are volunteer

You're one of the three most important people that are in the city, any city.
Firefighters, Police, and the ever loved EMTs.
Not necessarily in that order, it depends on who is needed the most at the time of course, but the city would go to hell in a hand basket without you guys!!!

My brothers is a retired fireman(Chicago)so you know how I feel. We send tons of food to our local police and firefighters at Christmas to thank them for their dedication. Never had to use the fire department but have had to use the police. My first experience with an EMT was when I had my first vehicle accident two months ago and they were great.

Firefighters are awesome, my brother in law is a Fireman,,but cops well there alright,Ive had bad experiences with them,,my sister in law got stab on the bus stop and it took the cops to get there 15 minutes after we called them and they where just two block from where it happened.

well you guys are damned important because at least i have a gun and can take cover when the **** hits the fan and i go up against a man instead of fire so yea you should have a category btw much respect to paramedics my fiancee is one and they definately deserve the respect

Firefighters are a unique breed of worker. They should be highly regarded and appreciated. I honor you, firefighter. I know the dangers you undertake to help those in need of your abilities. Your life is so often on the line and lest we forget.....what would we do w/o you who so willingly serve?
