To lose weight, you need to reduce the calorie intake by some amount. It is important to develop a healthy diet , so that body receives sufficient nutrients even as you try to lose weight. Check the calorie count of the food you eat. A diet without sufficient nutrients like vitamins and minerals will only increase your appetite when you are trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan to lose weight , additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles to increase the metabolic rate. Small changes in your diet can help you lose a lot of weight. More information on exercises and diet to loose weight is available at http://tinyurl.com/jax5h

1.keep a healthy diet. That means counting calories (150 pound person need roughly1500) while keep a balanced diet. you can consult a dietitian, f you really don't have time to study for it. you can also check out www.healthierus.gov/dietaryguidelines/.
by the way, no soda, light on fruit juice, but drink enough water (4 -- 8 cups) a day. it's best to prepare you own food.
2. active life style. varieties of cruncher in front of TV or sit with you legs raise up to the position that your pointed toes barely touching the floor.
3. no food after 4 hours before sleep. have something after you get up in the morning, even water.
4. be patient since two pound per week is recommended weight-loss goal.

If you nurse the baby, that is a automatic way to loose weight. Just to let you know. But if you are not nursing the baby, than just simply a fast brisk walking (work your way up to about 3-4 miles a day if you can). Brisk walking and moving arms is a excellent way of loosing weight. Swimming is also good; but it is also getting into winter season. Bike riding is also a good way.
Hope this helps.

are you nursing? that eats up roughly 500 calories per day. i lost my weight by doing weight watchers and winsor pilates' 10minute workout...no joke i lost about 25lbs in a couple of months. weight watchers is a simple plan to follow and you dont have to attend meetings they are just for support. doing the diet alone will help you lose weight as well, it will just be sped up with excercise.

a side note, dont listen to all this negativity! wow some of these people on answers are incredibly rude and thoughtless, immature etc. if you dont have a decent answer, dont submit an answer at all!

Hey there. Let me tell you that I am in the same boat and I just ordered some supplements called PowerThin. Their at either powerthin.com or hmglobalmall.com for cheaper. It's up to you... it gets rid of water weight and shapes your body up. But make sure to drink lots of water and watch what you eat. Also... I have had much success with this pill in the past before pregnancy so I am determined it will work for you. Good luck.

Keep this meal between 400 and 600 calories. Serve yourself a scaled-down portion, so if you like coming back again for seconds, you'll just wind up eating a normal-size portion.

Well,
You could exercise your butt off and eat healthy. I gained 26 pounds and within 6 weeks I lost it all. Just by eating right. I did not exercise. Be patient and if all else fails, and you are not breast feeding get a prescription diet aide. Phentermine.

Do some daily exercises, like crunches at least like 50. Go out for a walk around your block, at the park, or wherever. Aerobics and yoga work really well also.
