What is the focus behind a Muslim 'service'? Does the congregation share any kind of sacrament, as with Christianity?

I'm asking what do Muslims actually DO. What happens while they are in the mosque...I'm not assuming it's as ritualised and ornate as a Tridentine Mass, but there must be some kind of ritual involved. Could somebody describe that for me.

Regarding muslim prayer(called salaat in Arabic), there is a basic method of doing it. It involves standing, bowing, prostrating, sitting in a particular order. During standing Quran chapter fathiha(first chapter of Quran with 7 verses) has to be recited and optionally also any other part of Quran. During other positions, God is praised in various wordings. In the final sitting before prayer end, there is a prayer for prophet, for us and all the good devotees of God. There is also a special prayer to bless prophet mohammed and his people like God blessed prophet Abraham and his people.
This salaat prayer has to be performed 5 times a day, that is one before sun rise, one after midday, one in the evening, one after sunset and last one in the night. These prays can be perfomed individually or as a group, where one person(the imam) will be leading the rest. Group prayers are usually performed in mosque. The Mid prayer during Friday is to be performed as group in mosque. This is obligatory for all muslim males and optional for women. A speech is delivered before the Friday prayer.

Our holy Qur'an and hadith contain not only how to worship to Allah the only one God which is called ubudiyah but also how we should act and make a relationship with family,relatives,neighbo-
urs in individual and business relation that is called muamallah.
We pray to Allah as a direct communication with Him at least 5 ti
mes a day in a simple way at any clean place although it is better at home,at the office and in the mosque especially for men at every Friday noon we should pray together. We worship wirh a clean clothes and our privys are covered. Before dawn we pray 2 bows,at noon we pray 4 bows,in the afternoon we pray 4 bows,at the beginning of night after sunset 3 bows and at night before sleep 4 bows and the total in 24 hours is 17 bows.In a family praying at home should be headed by husband as imam or leader and wife and children as ma'mum his followers.
At Friday noon that is a must for men to pray together in the mosque. If we enter the mosque we should pray optional 2 bows that is called atakhiatul mesjid. After the time come the preacher gives a sermon for about half an hour up to 45 minutes to the attendances. We do not need sacrament .After hearing the sermon, then we pray together as compulsary for 2 bows headed by imam the leader for praying..Imam will end the praying by asking God's blessing. After that we have an optional praying individually for 2 bows and then we go out of the mosque to continue our own daily activities..Praying in the mosque is only once a week for men.It takes time totally for only one hour..

Isn't it interesting how you are accused of thinking all muslims are terrorists where there was absolutely no mention of that in the question...? I don't see anything derogatory toward muslims in this question, and 'm interested in knowing what their services are like as well
