No way. THat's the choice I've made, and I'm sticking to it. I'm 19, and it's something I've always been determined to do. I think it's very admirable that there are people who can resist temptation and save themselves for their future life partner.

Remaining a virgin is still recommended in proper society but there are few that actually stick to that belief ,,,,,, there are allot of opinions and arguments about it pro and con ,,,, What you do with it is your choice really ,,,,, No one can make that choice for you ,,,,,, You're going to get allot of "Go for it" answers but mostly that will be from males ,,,,,, They want you to go for it because they'd go for it at the drop of a hat ,,,,,, Then there's the moralist side of the issue and of course they are going to tell you to abstain ,,,,,,, You will be pulled towards both sides of the coin so to speak ,,,, but the bottom line to the whole thing is that what you do can only be decided by you ,,,,,, Don't let anyone from either side influence your decision

No that is not being old fashioned. You are doing the right thing. There are many of people who wish they would have waited. It may seem like you are the only one taking this stand, but it's o.k. to be different. When you are married you will have something to offer your spouse. I am sure that it gets hard sometime but hold on, it will be worth the wait.

It's all a matter of what is important to you, not what the rest of the world thinks. I don't think it's fair of anyone to condemn someone for their sexual beliefs. If you believe in saving yourself for marriage (lots of people do, even non-religious people) then don't let yourself be swayed by what other people are saying. Never ever compromise what you believe in!! If chastity isn't a value that you hold dear to you, then explore, have fun, and be safe!

actually very modern with the dangers of stds in today's world.
many people will not risk their good health for a moment of extreme pleasure. beside it make for a more intimate bond between a man and a woman to know that they saved them selves for a very special intimate relationship.
choosing virginity for both will bring a stronger bond.
very almost impossible to do. could actually be very disappointing if found out not really sexually compatible

Good for you. there are so many diseases out there why risk getting one with someone who you probably won't ever see again. Sex should be something you do with someone you plan to spend the rest of your life with. most people just want to take advantage of others so they can brag to their friends. Stick with the virgin to marriage.

No way, never think that. It doesn't matter because being a virgin means respecting your body. If you chose to respect it, respect it well. Just ask those who did, before marriage; most people regret it.

It's less common than choosing not to be, but a complete personal choice...either way, as long as the person is content with their choice, that's what matters...
