Why is it that women think its perfectly ok to cheat on men and should be forgivin for doing it. They act like its a mans responsibility to give the woman a second chance.

If a man cheats however, women think that the man should be hanged.

I think that it goes both ways. If a person forgives you for cheating then later it comes around to them, then you need to be prepared for forgiving them also. However being cheated on is serious and it is up to the person who was betrayed to decide whether they want to stay or leave, not the other way around. Good luck to you, consider it carefully. How old are you and are you married?

I think your question is a good one but I don't think you can just say you cheated you are out. You have to look at why the person cheated on you......maybe you were not fulfilling their needs....maybe you pushed them to do it. I think there are some people that cheat purely cause they like the attention and then their others that don't mean for it to happen but something is not going right in their current relationship....I think the second is recoverable.....but if you are going out with the first kind...you have no hope as they will never change whether they be male or female.

just my thoughts

I know that I'm going to make an enemy or a few with my beleifs, but here goes.
I think that it should be opposite,I think that it's more in a mans nature to want a little extra tang, & it should be a more forgivable thing,& a woman should be grilled if she cheats!
It's the pitch & catch rule........A guy is just shooting a wad,(external), A woman is catching a load,(internal).
A crank could be soap-ed up & washed off! A woman can shower off & still have goo, oozing up in them,so when the next guy comes along he is licking (if oral is involved) & rubbing his rod up against & through some other guy's creme!................(I'm really sorry if I'm to graphic for some of you)
So I think that it should be the other way around in my opinion!

i do not believe in second chances for either men or women, if they cheat that is a total violation of trust, and respect. Because I was married to a cheating spouse, my trust and respect are very hard earned. I have cut several women loose because of cheating issues in the past, without a moments hesitation, they just cease to exist to me as soon as I learned about it. I would expect the same if the situation was reversed.

I don't think women think it perfectly okay to cheat, its just a double standard, men can do it but cannot handle it when it happens to them, it takes alot for a female to cheat , so if your girl is cheating you need to sit back and think.

I don't think most women think its okay to cheat. However, if they get caught in the act...they will do everything to blame somebody else. It's like that with everything. Try blaming something on a girl sometime. She'll do everything in her power to excuse herself from the blame.

It's not OK. It's awful. It's just that women in general think that they are gods and should be treated as such. Why they think this? I don't even know. But women don't think this thing with just cheating, its pretty much everything.

Dear Sir,
It is not social acceptable nor morally acceptable for either to "cheat."
Women give in to fear more often than men.
Men give into lust more often than women.
I would like to find a faithful man, who could love me for who I am.
But the dating web sites I have found, can not find anyone for me.
So sir, Don't cheat, look for someone who is just as committed as you are to the relationship, and be honest in all things.
Best Wishes on your next romance.

I don't think it's okay for a man or a woman to cheat. Neither sex deserves that kind of crap.
