when and how should i tell him I love him?

I decided i'm going to tell this boy I love him, but I don't know when and how should tell him. he lives in new york and i live in pennsylvania, so i can't tell him directly. I have his email address and I talk to him on this one website, but these are the only ways i have communication with him. also, i mean when by should I wait 'til he says something or should I just tell him the next time I talk to him or wait a little longer. Any advice would be helpful, so please help.

This may sound old-fashioned but I think you should wait until he says it first. I only say this because I had a very bad experience the one and only time that I said I loved someone first. I was sure that he felt the same way, there would be those long "I have something to say but I'm scared to say it" pauses that I was sure were going to be him telling me that he loved me so I finally did it, I said it first. He didn't say it back. Ever. Three months later the relationship ended. Maybe I am just being over cautious but I will never again be the first one to utter those words.

You absolutely have to be in person. Don't do it on the Internet or on the phone. If these are the only ways you have to communicate with him then how do you know that you really love him? You love what you know of him, which isn't as much as it should be. Seriously, you need to nurture someone through a cold, get through irritations and tense moments together, and share in wonderful and spontaneous moments to really be in love. I don't think you should do it, even if you feel it. Wait until you've had some time in person.

Instead you can tell him through chat or on the phone how much your relationship means to you and that you really value it. That is a nice and appropriate thing to say for the situation I think.

through words. You love a fantasy your own conjuring of what he looks like. You're attracted to the soul of the person who put the
words together. Experts say that the girl should never say I love
you, let him say it first if its going to be said. Continue to talk, don't talk about intimate things, don't have cyber sex and make sure this is not a cyber preditor.

When u have been daiting for a month or more. But the guys I date normally tell me they love me btw a month or 2weeks. So I would personaly wait til he tells you. Good Luck.

Tell him that you really like him and want to get to know him alot better. I would not tell him that you love him. You need to know each other, in person, before you get in that deep.

How do you know that you love him when you haven't spent any real time one on one with him in person. Trust me, reserve your affections for when you've connected with him in real life & not on the net.

just make sure that you love him...and when the time is right during your conversation you should jus tell him and see what happens...but before that think on it and make sure that you love him before you tell him
