Oreo Cookie Cake
Cake:
24 chocolate sandwich cookie crumbs
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup margarine
1 (18.25 ounce) package butter cake mix
Glaze:
1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.
In a large bowl, combine chopped cookies, chocolate chips, flour and margarine. Set aside. Mix cake according to directions on package. Pour half of cake batter in pan. Sprinkle approximately 2 cups of the cookie mixture on top. Pour rest of cake batter over layer of cookies. Sprinkle remainder of cookie mixture on top.
Bake at 350° F. for 40 to 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
To make the glaze: In a small bowl, mix 1 cup confectioners' sugar with 2 to 3 tablespoons milk. Drizzle glaze over warm cake.

Oreo Cookie Cake Recipe
Serves: 12
Ingredients:
1 package Super Moist chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 1/4 cup water
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup coarsely chopped Oreo cookies
1 tub vanilla frosting or desired frosting
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 :. Grease and flour 2 cake pans. Beat cake mix, eggs, water and margarine on low for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 2 minutes.
Reserve 2 tablespoons cookies for icing. Fold remaining cookies into batter with spoon. Bake 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pans. Remove from pans and cool completely before icing. Crush cookies for icing very fine. Mix into frosting and spread on cake.

BUTTER PECAN CAKE MIX COOKIES
1 box Betty Crocker butter pecan cake mix
1 pkg. 9-12oz. pecan pieces
2 eggs
1 stick butter
Soften or melt butter (not hot). Add eggs and beat slightly.
Add cake mix and nuts mix well (batter will be stiff).
Drop spoonfuls and press on cookie sheet.
Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 10-12 minutes.
Yield 3 to 4 dozen.

1 pkg. (2-layer size) devil's food chocolate cake mix
4 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
1/4 cup butter, cut up
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
12 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, coarsely crushed
PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Prepare and bake cake mix as directed on package in 2 (9-inch) round cake pans. Cool in pans 5 min. Invert onto wire rack; remove pans. Cool completely.
MELT chocolate in small microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 to 2 min. or until chocolate is melted, stirring after 30 sec. Blend in butter. Set aside to slightly thicken, about 5 min.
BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping and crushed cookies. Place 1 of the cake layers on serving plate, top-side down. Spread top of layer evenly with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cake layer, top-side up. Spoon glaze over top of cake.

SIRENA'S SINFUL FROZEN CHOCOLATE COOKIE CAKE

This Cake ends up looking like a giant oreo cookie.
Ganache and Filling:
1/2 gallon cookies & cream ice cream softened
1 cup heavy cream
1 (12oz) bag of semisweet chocolate chips.
Cake:
Cooking spray for pans
2 tablespoons cake mix (dry)
1 (18.25-ounce)box chocolate cake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray 2 10" round cake pans with cooking spray then sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons dry chocolate cake mix in pans to coat (instead of flour) set pans aside.
Beat cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large mixing bowl on medium for 2 minutes or until well blended. Using a spatula, divide batter between 2 prepared cake pans. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. While cake is baking line 1 9" cake pan with plastice wrap with 3" overhanging. Spread softened ice cream into lined pan in a smooth, even layer. Freeze for 3 hours or until frozen.
When cake is done. Let cake cool in pans for 15 minutes. Loosen each cake and remove from pans, cool completely. While cooling, heat heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until bubbling around the edges. Remove pan from heat add chocolate chips, stir with wire whisk until smooth. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, until cool and slightly thickened, stirring occasionally. Spread ganache on top of and around sides of both cake layers, keeping layers seperate. Refrigerate entire cake for 1 hour. Place 1 layer, ganache side up, on a serving plate. Remove ice cream from pan, peel off plastic wrap and place on top of cake layer. Place second cake layer on top of ice cream, ganache side up. Freeze until ready to serve, let stan 5 minutes before serving.
