What does it mean if you dream you are flying and can't come down?

I have these dreams often. I am in the air circling around in say an arena or auditorium or even outside. I am devastated and struggling to come down and just can't.

I think I'd ignore the part about flying and deal with why you were feeling devastated and obviously frustrated with not being able to land.

Very tough question. Dreams could mean anything. From fantasies to embodiements or anything. This is a loose suggestion but maybe it means you were like a bird. You fly to keep yourself up and away from the ground. That you are saving yourself from the ground and you don't even know it. It's a rough question and i gave a rough answer :).
