Food poisoning symptoms
The food poisoning symptoms from the most common types of food poisioning generally start within 2 to 6 hours after eating the food responsible. That time may be longer (up to 36 hours) or shorter, depending on the toxin or organism responsible for the food poisoning. The possible symptoms of food poisoning include:

Abdominal cramps
Nausea and vomitting
Diarrhea (possibly bloody)
Fever and chills
Headache
Weakness (may be serious)

If he had food poisoning, he'd be one hurtin' puppy within a day of eating the bad food, and I mean HURTING! Severe abdominal cramps, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Possibly a high fever. He'd have had to be seen in the hospital emergency room and possibly admitted for acute care. If he's been sick this long with lesser symptoms, it's likely not related to his dining at the restaurant. He should still see his doctor, though, because it's obvious that something is going on that needs a professional opinion - and his own doctor, not me, is the proper person to do that.

You distinguish the two by waiting, so you can take a pregnancy test. Although it sounds like food poisoning...maybe it wasnt from the wings, maybe it was from something else you ate before your symptoms started. I only say this cause I got food poisoning earlier this summer and it happened in the same pattern your sickness did. Feeling blah a couple days and then I didn't leave the restroom for hours one evening......it's like everything that could possibly come out of a person came out, ugh, it was so gross.....LOL

Depends on what type of organism caused the food poisoning...usually, fever, abdominal cramping, diarrhea, vomiting, etc. are common symptoms of most types of food poisoning. Some types take a few days before symptoms show up.
