it sounds like you are having panic attacks.....i've had them too!!! your heart rate goes up, you begin to have difficulty breathing, sometimes your hands and forearms start tingling, your blood pressure goes up (especially the systolic number) and it makes you feel like you're losing it. i usually start crying when i have one...i'm not against medicine, but that is not what i would recommend you try first. i would try some relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and things such as that. also, try to figure out what is causing your stress and then try to find ways to handle it...if you feel you need help getting it all under control, i would recommend you talk to a counselor or therapist. then if you've tried all those things and still aren't doing so well, i would recommend that you try a medicine...i have anxiety/depression and my doctor put me on zoloft...it worked for me. i work at a hospital and one of the er nurses told me she was on cymbalta and had no side effects, the only way she could tell she was on it was the fact she was getting better! i wouldn't recommend xanax because you become so dependant on it and its extremely hard to withdraw from. you and your doctor work together to find what is right for you...don't go through this unecessarily...there's help out there for you and things WILL get better! good luck to you!!

Talk to your doctor. It definitely sounds like you're having anxiety attacks. I used to have them constantly before I went on medication, and I rarely get them anymore. They can be very scary, but you have to remember that it's all in your head and it can't hurt you. It's hard to calm down when you have them, but it's much easier when you know a few techniques to calm yourself down. Whenever I have them I try to get outside, where the air is cooler and I can breathe better. Practice taking deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth. Try to lighten your load so you don't get so overwhelmed. I know this is easier said than done, but sometimes you just have to learn how to do it in order to cope better. If all else fails, see your doctor. There are many medications available nowadays. They have medication that you can take daily, and medication that you can take whenever you start to feel like you're getting an attack. Both are wonderful. I hope this helps! Good luck!

You are describing feelings that will make you think you are going crazy. You seem to have too many things going on at the same time. Think about what is important and what can be let go. Take some time out for yourself. Stay in contact with people who possess qualities that you wish you could have; you might learn some good lessons from people who have gone through the same things.

Sounds like anxiety to me. My psychiatrist gives me Klonapin for it. Works like a charm.
There ARE things that you can do that don't require docs and meds. Meditation, relaxation techniques, deep breathing, long hot baths, herbal remedies (possibly st. john's wart).
But I'd see a psychiatrist if I were you before this gets out of hand.

it's anxiety and i get the same thing. what you need to do is try and lighten your load and set aside a half hour or so to just relax whether you read a book, watch tv, lay in bed and breath...whatever...it's important to make time for some sort of relaxing exercise or activity..or you will go crazy.

I've never been convinced multi-tasking is good or efficient. Concentrate on the task at hand, then move to the next.

Stop before you get a nervous breakdown. You're not crazy yet, but at the rate if you don't stop or slow down, you just might crack.

Just relax, and lay down, you may need some pills, like right now.
