Just be an adult about it. If she is a mature and responsibly 18 year old then she will be too. In being mature adults and not reckless young adolescents... and in proving that you are a mature and caring and responsible 25-year-old guy as opposed to an immature 25-year-old bum loser, you will make the parents much more at ease and they will probably approve of you despite your age. I guess people get weary of 25-year-olds hanging out with people so young... it makes them seem immature or like they have a problem that they would relate to someone so much younger than they are... but if you can prove that you are at the same maturity level... and meaning that she is up to an older level, then that might help. My best friend dated a 32-year-old guy when she was 18, but she was really mature and in that professional world with all of the older people for a while anyway, and he really cared about her going to college and doing the things she needed to do to become a responsible adult. The parents eventually approved of him just fine.

Ok there's more going on with her parents than just your age for one thing. I don't suppose you're her 1st boyfriend? Or she got into trouble with a previous older man? Ask her about that. For another, they shouldn't be freaking out about 18 and 21. That's only 3 years difference and has pretty much always been a reasonable difference. 18 and 25 is a little bit too much distance. They're probably just parentnoid. Probably afraid you're gonna take her out and get her drunk and rape her or something like that. Be courteous, not overly touchy, but obviously happy, and have her do the same when you meet the parents. If you're going to have a real, successful relationship, she can't keep lying about it, and the longer the lying continues, the less likely her parents are to forgive her when they catch you. Tell them, meet them, and become more than just an age that is dating their daughter.

You should not care what the hell her parents say. A relationship with that young of a girl is not gonna go anywhere unless you kock her up anyway. In a year or 2 you will realize just how boring it is to talk with a girl that is that much younger than you. You will be thinking about grown up stuff and she'll be talking to you about some idiot from American Idol. Enjoy the experience and don't worry about the parents!
