first, you haven't told us where are you from. If u are a native english speaker with bachelor degree, you can find job such as english teacher in a univ, college, high school, etc. If you are a native speaker with PHD degree, you can contact the univ directly for asking for being a lectuer there.
But sorry if you are not a native english speaker, you would have difficulties in finding job in both Japan and China.

You can always teach English in China. No joke, they can pay you anywhere from RMB8000-12,000+ especially in Shanghai or Beijing. Smaller cities will pay you less.
