Ok, so my son is 11 and he has several new teeth coming in but will not let me pull his teeth out (that are just setting on top of his new teeth) what should I do? Is it important that he gets those teeth out or is it ok that I just wait and let them fall out. Please give your advise??

If they don't come out within a week or so take him to the dentist an let them do it It's less painful for both of you sometime skin get wrapped around the teeth and just son't let go and the dentist can numb it slightly and get them out My daughter is the same way and this worked best for us Good Luck

There can be some problems with it...if the new teeth don't come in right under the old teeth, the new teeth can be "pushed out of the way" essentially and come in crooked. However some teeth just come in that way naturally. The dentist can pull the teeth however they should fall out on their own. If he is at all like other kids...they can't stop playing with the loose teeth..I know I couldn't, and if that is the case they will eventually come out on their own...However, If you're really concerned...take him to the dentist or even just call the dentist first and see what he says. It probably won't even take an office trip to get your answer!!

A dentist would tell you to allow the teeth to fall out on their own your pulling them out will lead to serious damage and future problems, some people never receive a second set of teeth their baby teeth are the only set they develop.

Are they giving him any discomfort? Teeth falling out is a natural process. Tell him to play with them. They should fall out on their own. If any problems come up, get him to the dentist. He will decide if they should be extracted. My son had the same problem and he played with them and they were out in 2 days. Give it some time. You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

How long have they been like that? Are they very loose? It would probably be best to take him to the dentist for their opinion. The problems that can occur with leaving baby teeth when the adult teeth are already through is that they can displace the adult tooth or that your son won't clean around these teeth properly which can lead to developing decay.

Didn't quite understand, but if you mean there a teeth growing on top of the baby teeth, which haven't fallen out yet and he won't let you pull em out, then the teeth with just fall out by itself - naturally. One of mine fell out a few years back while I was half alseep. I just felt the urge to push at it with my tongue.

Forcibly pulling out baby teeth can cause damage to the gums. Wait until they fall out naturally. If they don't fall out on their own it's time to see a dentist.

Try anything gummy to pull those loose teeth out, milk duds, carmels, sticky candy will help due the trick.

leave them be they'll fall out on their own..i used to let all my teeth just hang by a thread in my mouth and then twisting it and playing with it with my tongue it finally came free..i'm sure he plays with his teeth everyone does. so they'll fall out sooner than you know.
