I think some people truely need help with homework (they don't understand it). Those are the people I don't mind helping. The difference is people who attempt the problem and still don't get it versus people who plainly ask for the answer.

Everyone needs help with homework now and again. That's why there's a category called "homework help." I don't see a problem with stepping kids through assignments that are stumping them. The idea is to learn, and sometimes that means asking questions when you're stuck. I think we can tell which ones are just slumping and which ones are truly stuck.

well it depends.. I mean yea you're right if they don't get it, its because they weren't paying attention in class, and if they were paying attention in class they should have nothing to worry about the teacher wouldn't be mad about it right?! But sometimes the homework problems are confusing, I think it would be ok to help someone if they dind't have a lot of HW questions on their record thing..

it's good to help them out, so they can figure out the right answer. It's kind of like having an online tutor.
