I know it sounds like she is making up excuses, but they are usually athletically oriented, and she can't skip out because her dad is the head coach. She acts like she is okay with me, which is more than many of the girls at my school because they decided to make up a lot of perverted rumors about me a long time ago, and our class has 23 people and that kind of stuff doesnt disappear. I have checked up on her stories, in a sublte way because I don't want to just be wasting my time, and they always check out...maybe Im just unlucky.
My question is what should I do, give up, or keep tryin, and if I keep tryin, what should I do???

I'd keep my options open and perhaps tell her to let you know when she's free. Just tell her that you won't bother her anymore to go out with you, but if she's ever free and feels like hanging out, then give you a call. Then, give her some space and see what happens. If she truly likes you then she'll make the time to be with you, otherwise move on and find someone who is more worthy of your time. Good luck!

I'm a 27 year old guy,
Every girl that i have ever asked that has had a bunch of excuses even when i was 14,
That is thier way politley saying, "i'm not interested"
THey'll still act interested in you and never tell you no but I'll bet you in this instance this is what this means.
I'm so sorry you go to such a small school, only 23 kids,in your grade, that must suck, The selection of chicks must be terrible and you probably think she's like the only one. i went to a high school in oregon where there was 180 in my grade, We still almost all knew each other and spread nasty rumors.

Females like attention. You may be giving way too much to her. Let off the gas a little bit. Stop calling her. Suddenly become too busy for her. Watch what happens after a few weeks.

When you're truly interested in someone you find a way to be available.
Maybe she's interested but her actions are saying the opposite.
Stop asking her and move on....if she want to see you let her ask.

i hate to tell this to ya, but she might be avoiding you. just have a heart to heart conversation saying, "Its ok if u dont want to go out with me,it wont hurt my feelings. but i need to know the truth". and that should make things clearer for you.
