Sadie Hawkins by definition means the girl asks.

"Do you want to go with me to a dance where you're supposed to do the asking and not me? Uh, oops."

Well, you get what I mean.

You wouldn't be asking this question if you didn't have a gal in mind. If there is someone you like that you are worried might not ask you. Talk to her, not necessarily about the dance, but about her plans for the weekend. Ask if she's doing anything Saturday night.

Try to drop hints to her first since this has been traditionally the dance that girls are supposed to ask guys to. If she doesn't ask-maybe she is too shy- go ahead and ask her.

well, at my school, that's the big thing about it-- it wouldnt be sadies without girls asking guys. maybe it's a regional thing.

in all reality it doesn't really matter, but wait a couple more days, maybe she'll come around

go get your girl! for formality sake, you can let her know you're interested and then allow her to ask you.
