Did you change? Did you guys go through a bad moment? Times change. If you really want to know what he's thinking, then you would ask him. But if you don't have the guts to ask him, that means there's a part of you that doesn't want to know. So pick a side, whether you want to know if he liked you or not and act upon it.

This is coming from a guy,
I've had these kind if situations, ususally it's because i somehow get discouraged and lose confidence to "get a girl that good"
Either that or he has found another chick

Maybe by talking to him so much, he ended up liking you and now he is shy and he doesn't want to. I'm not really sure. Sometimes love can be so mysterious. :)

maybe he now has a girlfriend
maybe he heard/saw something about you that changed his mind
maybe he just lost interest.

either he is really shy...
meaning he's shy naturally or is shy around girls he likes.
but most likely (from personal experience, it's happened loads of times) he doesn't like you but doesn't know how to tell you. we need more details to know for sure probably...
