Why are the fundamentalist evangelists so adamant that they are the "chosen ones" and that all other religions are wrong?

Because Jesus said I am the truth the life and the way, no one can come to the father but by me.
There is no other way! End of story

I do not know of any born again Christians, in my church anyway, who have this kind of thinking. Yes, we believe that Jesus is the only way to God. But that is very different than adopting some kind of arrogant attitude. It's not about me being "chosen" and you not. It's merely that I know who Jesus is. I don't go around bragging about it, I know it's by God's grace alone.

You know that you have been chosen when the Bible's verses become life to you and not merely words. It's a gift that has been given to His true believers. When you see something crystal clear and people around you are not, you know you have chosen to receive the riches from heaven. We all have this capability if we choose to.

All religions are False.
GOD chooses for ALL HUMAN BEINGs to be Saved.
After you get your Spirit Recreated(Saved) you can call yourself Anything you want to----you will still be a Child of GOD on your way to Heaven.

if the church believes that Jesus is the son of God and they accept Jesus as their Savior then they don't think others are wrong. That's the only point that really matters
