You will have to sit down with a social worker that is handling your case. Discuss what kinds of improvements that you need to make in your life in order to get your kids back. Such as cleaning your house, having food, getting rid of a bad boyfriend (etc), Once you have established what needs to be done. You can also request to have visitations with your kids while your kids are in a foster home so they do not feel like you have abandoned them. Just remember don't get mad at the social worker they are there to help families. Once you get your kids back they will still come and check up on you periodically before they offically close thier case.

There is a reason why they took the kids but because they are YOUR KIDS you still have all the right to get it back unlike if you only adopted those kids because the social services could give the kids to another foster family. So good news is you'll them back because THEY ARE YOURS BY ALL MEANS. All you have to do let the REASON OF THE SOCIAL SERVICES for taking your kids dissolve. Meaning if the reason is financial FOR EXAMPLE, maybe it's time to earn some living. :-)

God bless you... You'll get them back

Well it depends on why the kids were taken in the first place. If you really want your kids back then you have to focus on that. NO DRUGS!!! NO DRINKING!!! If you do have addictions then get help right away!! Get out of an abusive relationship if thats the reason why they were taken, get a job. All of these things show that you want your kids back and are willing to make a change and effort to get your kids back. Face it there are not many times when children are taken from their home for no reason at all.

If the Social Services take your children from you, they should have explained why. You can take some parenting classes and convince them that you want them back. You must make changes and prove that you have. They will let you know why and what you must do.

they will give you a list of things to accomplish to reclaim custody after the case has been heard by the judge. The foster system is intended to HELP people gain the skills they need but do not currently possess to be a better parent. Talk to the social worker assigned to your case.

You have to show them and the court that you can take care of them. Also it depends on why they took the kids in the first place.
