I'm a full time student in college, but all my friends are like full-time school, a good job, and social life; but i can barely stay on top of my school work. I need real advise on how to help me balance my life wisley, and get motivated. I guess it's a lack of preparation from my family members, who knows, please comment on anything. Thanks!

if you can't multitask, just stay focus at one thing.Maybe you're not use to it,so just take thing one at a time.Pushing yourself will only give bad performance in studies.Learn to relax, and you will go with the flow.Good luck

I doubt there's anything your family members could have done to help you prepare; my parents did their best and I still wasn't well-equiped. Sometimes it seems like other people have more hours in their day than we do, but at the end, it's not the same for everyone. They might not be putting as much effort into their studies as you are?
I learnt the hard way that I cannot cope with school, work and a social life all at once, and I guess you need to weigh out which ones matter the most to you at this point. You can always catch up on the rest later.
Good luck!

I suggest that you simply, "KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE BALL."
Try focusing on the most important thing (school) place aside the not-so-important things. It's okay if you can't juggle more than one or two balls at a time. Let school be your number one priority.
Remember "KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE BALL" with each assignment.
I recommend you get gym membership, or first thing every morning take a jog around the neighborhood. This gets the blood circulation going and exercises the brain as well. (Helps you think and perform better)
It's nothing like starting a day with exercise. Exercise gives you that second wind that you need in the middle of the day. Your days will feel better and you will too. Good luck and try it!

Lack of preparation from family members? Honey, it's YOUR life-take responsibility for it. Maybe you are just a one thing at a time person, and maybe you do that one thing really well-maybe, just maybe, even better than the multitaskers.
Give yourself a little break-it could be what you are doing is enough. Unless, of course, you are unhappy or lonely. In that case, take a set amount of time out to break from the books and socialize, then get back to it with a clear mind.

I wouldn't consider being a full time student, having a good, job, and a social life, multitasking. that is difficult for most people. Multitasking is mastered by being an organized person with an organized mind. It also helps to have a genuine interest or passion for doing more things in less time.

You know sweetie i think i know what you are going through. Except i don't go to school. I would be SO bent out of shape id truly lose it. The multitasking think SUCKS anyhow. That's all I have done all my life and it has gotten me ......NOWHERE! If you can manage school hey you are doing GREAT! Trust me you really will go mental if you worry to much about that. That exactly is just only 1 of my prob.

Comparing yourself to your peers can be dangerous on you mentally. You have your own limits. Personally I can't work and go to school. I can barely do one, let alone the two at the same time. I just learn my limits and try to stick to them.

Everybody is different. Try not to compare yourself to others (although it is hard! ) and take on what you can. Remember quality of life vs. stress and year longer of school.

Try not to be so hard on yourself-it sounds like you're doing the best you can as it is...you can't do anymore than that.
