When does one stop growing?

Question

I'm 17, I'll be 18 in early January. Around the same time last year I was 5'5 1/2. I'm 5'7 1/2 now. How could I grow that much in one year at close to 20 years old?

people will grow till they dies, unless they had necrosis disease

for height you might still grow till 28, but 24 is the ussual almost fully maxed height

well ppl say you stop growing at 16. But usually people seem like they stop at 18. I have older sisters. And Maybe your still going through puberty so your still growing. But you'll stop soon I never seen no one in there 20's grow. I have a 20 and 22 year old sisters

Research says you stop growing at age 17 - 18 for women and 18 - 20 for men this is because of maturity!!!!!

In a way you might have hit your growth spurt,but if it's hereditary you might grow a little more.But I heard women are not suppose to stop growing till they hit 20-25,I'm 23 and I have stopped.Don't laugh but my family is short and I'm 4'11 at 120lbs,I don't care though I love it.It's just meant to be like that,my mom was 4'10 and my dad is 5'5-5'6,so we know we have it honestly.

I think it depends on the person. I have been the same height since 6th grade, 5' 1/4", I am now 27 years old and the same height.

You might have hit your growth spurt a little late in your life - one of the things that goes along with puberty. That will probably be the end of your growing up time though.

you grow until 26 or something. you just dont grow as quickly after two years after ur puberty. or i heard.
