I'd rather not get myself worked up over this argument tonight (and indeed, many people wonder why I argue -for- gay rights when i'm a heterosexual), but I will say this:

The Bible has been changed throughout the ages. And i'll bet my life savings that God wasn't the one who first said, "Dude, they were Adam and Eve. Not Adam and -Steve-."

this is an interesting question, one that can never be fully answered.
1st off the bible doesnt forbid being gay, but engaging in sexually gay acts.
it is a known fact that most gay people are born that way (look it up online or w/e); although they might not realize it until many years later. So really, G-D decides who is gay; and b/c no person is born a sinner (we're goin by the old testament here folks), being gay is not a sin; and maybe that passage that says it is is really a metaphor or something.

No I don't think it's okay to be gay. I don't have a problem with gay people however it is a very big sin. read the bible. God made Adam and eve not Adam and Steve.

technically, nobody can point a finger at anyone else for the wrong doing because we all commit a sin that is specifically spelled out in the bible, such as fornication, (premarital sex) lie, curse. back stab, just to name a few so honestly who are we to judge?
