I took my 16 month old daughter to her well visit and her head circumference has remained at 44 cm since she was 13 months old. Developmentally she is on target and all other growth is good. The doctor just said to wait till her next visit in 3 months before he gets alarmed...but being the mom...I'm a nervous wreck!!!!

the rest of his body is making up for the size of his head. Durning pregnancy the baby's head is 2/3 of the body mass. After birth a little baby needs to turn into a little kid, which means the rest of the body need to catch up. If your peditrician doesn't think their is a problam and if you think your baby is absolutly fine then rest assured.

Heads dont grow that fast maybe it wasnt measured correctley when she was born. Dont worry about it I'm sure at the next check up she'll be fine.
