i am fat and are thinking about half starving cause i am 11 and 143 lbs and i am 5'2 and i have to get skinny cause i want guys to like me more expecially my not secret crush alex he is so hot and he is a football tell me do u think he would like me if i was skinnier or the way i am

The main thing is to be healthy, so if you are going to diet do it in a healthy way, Ok?

Try a juice based diet - there's more information at the website below. You will be guaranteed to lose weight, and have better skin, more energy, etc.

Now... will if get you the guy...? I don't know, but stick with being healthy and you'll definitly have your pick of men down the road.

He is a football??? Well whatever, you want to get skinny? Don't starve yourself. Starving yourself, like skipping breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc can actually make you more fat. Your body constantly needs food or else if you starve it, when it gets taht food it tends to make it into fat and not energy for your body. Then it stores the fat for a long time because it thinks it can be used as back up for more starving times. You are 5'2 huh...well Im 5'9 and dead skinny but people don't even think I am 110 lb because I have a high metabolism and I am very tall for my age. Try doing a sport yourself. Don't starve yourself, never works. Try going on a diet of healthy foods but that doesn't mean you shouldn't include unhealthy foods in your diet every now and then because if you don't, the craving for those foods end up getting so big you eat them all at one time for a LONG time. Go exercise, do a sport, I recommend martial arts like kendo, karate, tae kwon do, or judo.

Starving yourself aka Anorexia OR Crash Dieting is a dangerous and unhealthy way to lose weight.
Rather then harming your body, you should start eating healthier and exercising an hour a day, about 5 days a week.
First, cut back on all the snacks like chips, cupcakes, and soda. Drink water, powerade, gatorade, healthy juices like apple, cranberry, etc. Replace the junk food with vegetables and fruits. Don't over indulge.
Keep a daily food journal so you can keep a track of what you've been eating.
Understand that losing weight isn't going to happen instantly, it takes hard work and dedication.
Don't obsess over it.

many points:
1) you're 11, don't sweat it!

2) if you want to get thin, don't starve yourself, because then your body goes into starvation mode, and everything you eat from then on is automatically transformed into fat.

3)you like a football? kinda hard and pointy at both ends i'd think.

4) It depends entirely on if you want lots of guys or good guys. Get thin if you want a lot of shallow guys chasing after you. A decent guy with a brain above his waist will like you for more than your body.

5) Thinness doesn't really matter as much as you might think. Having a good self image is much more important. I've actually asked some guys, and they all say that confidence is sexy. All but the really shallow ones will think your body is as good as you think it is.

6) Don't lose weight for a guy. If you want to lose weight, do it for you and no one else. Otherwise, it's just not worth it.

Do not starve yourself. That will make your diet different where when you eat you will gain more which I had to start doing. Even though I'm not big but it will mess you up because I'm not trying to get skinnier I just don't like the schools food and get sick while eating breakfast. The last time I was big was when I was two because I was depressed after my twins death. But I walk mon, tue, wed, thur, and fri but not on weekends. I eat like crazy but trying to cut down. Try to eat healthy, walk alot. Because I'm pretty sure your parents are not going to have you take weight loss pills. But I think he would like you more but he and everyone else should accept you the way you are

If you want to lose weight, lose it for the right reasons. Lose it because you want to feel good about yourself, don't lose it because it will get you boys.

Don't starve yourself, it is very dangerous to do. Eating healthier and exercising is a lot better than starving yourself. You only hurt yourself. I've looked up this kind of stuff. There is no need to harm yourself. If you have weight issues, discuss it with your parents, not with these strangers on Yahoo.

If you are only 11 you don't need to be thinking about a boyfriend. You got the rest of your life to think about them honey. Finish school without havin any children and make something out of your life, ok. I'm sure you will see what the good side of being focused on other things other than men will do for you. I am 26 and don't have any children right now. I stayed focused and I didn't want to become like my classmates b/c I knew I wanted somthing out of life and I went for it. Good luck and stop trying to get this guy to like you, if anything if you want to loose weight do it for yourself and not from some nuckle head!!!

your 11? Do not starve yourself! Eat healthy and cut back on the junk food. Boys are not that important, take care of yourself first.

you are beautiful the way you are, i am sure. as you grow older and get into your teens, the baby fat will naturally fall off. you do not have to starve yourself at all. at your age, alex will like you if he likes you, it will have nothing to do with your weight.

I think he would like you if you just be yourself and are sweet and kind to him. Don't try and be someone you're not! If you want to become skinnnier, just find some exercises to do don't starve yourself!!! I know people who have died from that!
