That's what I heard. The hoopla down in Arizona the other day was the signing of money to be appropriated for the building of a fence - not the Secure Borders Act, as we were led to believe. This whole thing is a farce.

This fence has been an interesting political distraction.
Think practically for a moment... How is this fence to be built? I know what a few hundred yards woud cost for my yard. How much would it cost to built an 1800-mile long, 10-foot high fence? Who is going to do the building? How long would it take for unionized federal contractors? If there was subcontracting to make it a bit cheaper and faster? How do we monitor all these contractors and subcontractors to make sure no one uses foreign labour?
Really, we're talking about a pretty big structure here. Much bigger than the rebuild of New Orleans, and somehow they couldn't even get enough legal labour for that project.
What government agency is going to oversee the design? How long would that take..... two, three years before a shovel goes into the ground?

According to pro illegal nobody is illegal and America has no right or obligation to stop anyone from entering the country. You also seen Mexico threating to call on the U.N. to disallow America to disobey Mexico

OK, thanks for that update. From another article I thought that today was the last day. I did email the White House reminding them that we are watching and that the biggest obstacle to any solution is the fact that no one trusts our government any more on enforcement and security.
(I'm sure he read it personally and it made all the difference.)
